P90x-The Weight’s Still Not Coming Off
Some people ask me when they’re starting their p90x workouts why aren’t they seeing any weight loss yet. Well there’s two reasons for this. Number one when you first start working out and doing the diet. Your body is trying to readjust from years of training that you gave it and so it takes time before your body gets used to this new process. What typically happens is your body starts changing from fat to muscle, so you’re not losing any weight right away. Usually around the 30 day mark you start seeing how your clothes are fitting different and start seeing that scale go down.
P90X-it Won’t Happen OverNight
Remember folks, you didn’t put all that weight on in one day and it won’t come off all in one day. Some will notice their biggest improvements between day 60 and day 90. If you can just stick with it and do the full 90 days you will see amazing results. Don’t let anybody tell you you can’t do it. It takes a strong mindset, determination and focus to achieve any great results and p90x is no different.
The second reason, you may not be seeing the results is because you’re trying to starve yourself. When your body goes into starvation mode it saves everything to fat because it doesn’t know when it’s going to eat again. It’s best to eat five small meals a day, every couple hours, because then your body starts to realize that it’s always going to have more food. Once you have your eating schedule regulated you will start burning fat. Also drink plenty of water, one or two glasses per day is not enough to rehydrate your body to help break down the fat. 7 to 8 glasses a day is what you need to be drinking every day.
