Weight Loss Motivation-All The Excuses

The funny thing about weight loss motivation is that we seem to make excuses that allow us to quit. New Year’s day is a prime example, tell me if this sounds like someone you know, especially guys.

I’m telling you come the first of the year I’m really gonna start working out and losing the weight. Well maybe not the first because of all the bowl game parties so you know we’ll be drinking and all that food around. I’ll start after that.

Those bowl games were great and I would start my workouts now but NFL playoffs are starting and you know how we all get together for those so that wouldn’t be the right time to start a diet.

Weight Loss Motivation-More Excuses

Wow those playoffs and superbowl were great and now I would start my workouts but the damn NCAA March Madness has begun and that’s just crazy so I’ll get started after that. I really want to lose weight but with all these things goin on it’s just tough to find the time to workout.

Great, now football and college basketball is over but now it’s NBA playoff time and the guys always get together for that. That would be a terrible time to start a diet. Soon as that’s over though I’m gonna start.

That was a great NBA championship series. Now I’m finally ready but wait, the kids are out of school now so I really don’t have the time. I’ll start my workouts when they go back to school.

It’s great that the kids are back in school. Now I have the time to devote to my diet and workouts. Damn, I forgot about the holidays coming up. There is no way I can stick to my diet with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up. I promise I will start at the first of the year.

Believe me, that’s how alot of folks will fail this year with their weight loss motivation. You can make excuses or make results, which one will you make?
